The Rotary Club of Altamonte Springs is part of a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders founded in 1905 committed to providing humanitarian service, high ethical standards in business, and creating global goodwill. Since 1978, members of the Rotary Club of Altamonte Springs have dedicated themselves to those goals and give of their time to make our community a better place to live and work. In our effort to live up to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”, Club members actively participate in numerous community service and fund-raising projects throughout the year that benefit local charitable organizations and schools. The Club has funded international projects such as the installation of clean water facilities in impoverished villages in India. But perhaps most importantly, the Club has also contributed to the hundreds of millions of dollars that Rotary clubs all over the globe have raised in its long-term goal to permanently eradicate the disease of Polio.

📣 Please join us this Thursday, October 15th at 7:15 a.m. at the Hilton, Altamonte Springs as we welcome Brian Hutchings, Senior Manager of Community Relations for the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX).

Brian oversees public involvement for the toll agency’s 125-mile expressway system serving nearly 80 million annual residents and visitors across Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Join us Thursday, October 1st at 7:15 a.m. at the Hilton Altamonte Springs for a program that speaks directly to our Rotary commitment to service, integrity, and informed citizenship.

Our guest speaker will be Nancy Rudner, Speakers Bureau Chair for the League of Women Voters of Seminole County. A public health professional and longtime community advocate, Nancy embodies Rotary's belief in putting knowledge and purpose to work for the greater good. Her topic — what will be on the ballot this year — will give us the facts we need on the key races, issues, and amendments facing voters this November.

As Rotarians, we know that a healthy democracy depends on an informed and engaged community. This is your chance to learn what's at stake, ask questions, and be better equipped to serve as a trusted voice in your own circles.

Bring a friend and join us for this timely and nonpartisan presentation.

🇺🇸 Service Above Self. Unity Above All. 🇺🇸

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that permanently changed our nation, but also revealed the true depth of American resilience, courage, and community spirit.

As Rotarians, we pause to honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost. We remember the ultimate sacrifices made by the first responders who selflessly ran toward danger, embodying the very definition of putting others before themselves.

The most profound way we can keep the spirit of 9/11 alive is through action—by bridging gaps, serving our community, and showing kindness to our neighbors.Let us stand united today and every day.
