Jewish Pavilion Senior Services Enriching the lives of residents in elder-care communities.

The mission of The Jewish Pavilion to enhance the quality of life of our elders in long term care by strengthening their connection to the community. Our Purpose:
The Jewish Pavilion enhances the lives of residents in independent, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout Central Florida by providing regular visitation, holiday festivities, inter-generational celebrations, musical programs, and educational courses. Our staff and volunteers visit seniors in fifty independent, assisted living and long-term care facilities. Our respite program gives caregivers a break on Fridays by allowing their loved ones to meet at the Jewish Community Center for day long activities.

Shabbat Shalom from Jewish Pavilion Senior Services! Recently, we observed multiple holidays with our community, traveling to Westminster Winter Park, Grand Living Park at Lake Mary, and Cascade Heights Senior Living.
We held a short service for Yom Kippur, sharing challah and honey cake for a sweet New Year.
For Sukkot, residents shook the lulav and etrog, saying the accompanying blessings. In preparation for Simchat Torah, which took place October 3rd and 4th, we discussed this joyful celebration of dancing and singing with the Torah. This program is proudly supported through a grant from the S'firot Foundation.

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach from Jewish Pavilion Senior Services! Recently we traveled to Brookdale Altamonte Springs, Cascade Heights Senior Living, Brookdale Lake Mary, and Cordova Grand Living Lake Mary.
We discussed Sukkot and constructed edible sukkahs out of graham crackers, pumpkin cream cheese, dried fruit, and more! We had such artistic groups of residents, and while they had so much fun making them, they enjoyed eating their sukkahs even more. This program is proudly supported through a grant from the S'firot Foundation.
