It’s August 2016 and we are well into the dog days of Summer. This year the heat came early and stayed with us. We got to experience high humidity, high temperature and the high stress levels that come with summertime in the AC business in Central Florida. Let me ask a few questions. Did you have enough personnel, office, sales, installation & service? Were your team members properly prepared by a
ttending training classes during the Fall, Winter & Summer? What about your marketing strategies, did they work? Are you profitable? ACCA/CF is your industry tool box to help you with the issues above and many other facets of operating a successful HVACR business. Once again the year is moving fast and September begins the 2015 / 2016 Season for ACCA/CF members to begin to tackle the tough challenges facing our industry. What do the new code changes really mean to me and my company? When do they actually go into effect? What about Pool Heat Pumps, can I install them, can I service them? How about new technology, do I know enough to stay ahead of the curve here? Is your Workers Comp program manageable or is it a monster that is on the brink of being out of control? As a business owner you face these challenges and many many more. It sure would be nice if you had somewhere to go to get information, share opinions and maybe even get some answers. I’ve always thought the biggest challenge in our industry for business owners isn’t working in the industry, typically we all have a strong background in the industry. The challenge comes from working “on the business” you see it is a business that just happens to be HVACR. Luckily there is somewhere for you to go to get help, answers, information and to share ideas it is ACCA/CF. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Committee Members I would like to invite you to come to the September ACCA/CF Luncheon to see how this association can be an asset to you and your organization. For our existing members, welcome back and get ready for a full year of programs designed to help you grow you, your team members and your overall business. It is our goal to make sure that ACCA/CF is a resource that you can count on to assist you with some of the challenges of operating a successful business. We look forward to another year of providing support to Central Florida HVACR contractors. Sincerely,
Pete Zeitler
President ACCA/CF
