Families First in Franklin Park

Families First in Franklin Park New collaborative committed to creating an equitable early learning environment in Allentown and particularly in the Franklin Park neighborhood

06/08/2026

In 2023, Allentown earned the opportunity to be part of The BUILD Health Challenge, a national organization that strives to put multi-sector community partnerships at the foundation of improving health for everyone. Within this three-year cohort, Community Services for Children, Inc., Valley Health Partners, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, City of Allentown's Health Bureau, Pool Center for Health Analytics and Leonard Parker Pool Institute for Health, all continuously collaborated on prioritizing families with children ages 0-5 in the Franklin Park Neighborhood.

Over these past few years, our collaborative, Families First in Franklin Park, continued to strengthen and grow. As we approach the end of our time in the BUILD Health Challenge, the work of collaboration across sectors and putting families at the center is only beginning.
