The audience cheered when an Allentown Central Catholic High School girl won a top honor at a major theater awards event, and she hurried to the microphone to make her acceptance speech. It was the Freddy Awards on May 21 at the State Theatre, Easton, and Briana Bauer, 16, was picked for her โOutstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Roleโ in the schoolโs production of โDisneyโs Frozen.โ But before the Walnutport girl thanked her director, her voice coaches, her castmates, and her parents, she said this: โFirst off, thank you and all glory to Our Lord and Savior.โ โBy first thanking Jesus Christ, Briana showed that her success is grounded in faith, humility, and gratitude,โ said Diane Young, Principal. โShe truly exemplifies the qualities we seek to cultivate in every Allentown Central Catholic student.โ READ MORE at https://www.ad-today.com/education/a-students-brief-but-powerful-witness-of-faith-on-a-public-stage
