Due to the upcoming forecast, our Emergency Shelter will be OPEN ALL DAY on Saturday 1/24 and Sunday 1/25. We urge anyone considering seeking shelter to do so as soon as possible. Please stay safe and warm this weekend!

Amenities Available During Service Hours
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• A safe, warm bed
• Access to showers
• A welcoming community space for rest, connection, and support

Allentown Rescue Mission-355 Hamilton St.
The emergency shelter will be open all day on:
• Saturday, January 24
• Sunday, January 25

This shelter is available for single men over the age of 18.

Emergency Pet Shelter Support

The Lehigh Valley Humane Society and Vet Clinic has partnered with CART to temporarily house up to 12 animals during the storm.

Details:
• Available from Saturday at 6:00 PM through Tuesday at 9:00 AM
• Animals will be housed in a CART mobile shelter on the LVHS property
• LVHS staff will provide all care during the stay
• An LVHS representative will be at the YMCA on Saturday from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM to complete animal registration and intake
• Animals will be transported by shelter staff
• Owners must pick up their animals from LVHS no later than 9:00 AM on Tuesday

Please note: This service is only available to unhoused individuals.

Good morning
There will be a volunteer at the facility from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today. For any unsheltered individual to come and get supplies such as hats gloves scarves hand warmers feel warmers sleeping bags etc.. to be able to survive the elements.

Good morning Facebook world.
If you see a unsheltered individual that needs something clothing blankets sleeping bags hats gloves any item to help them survive the day, the elements Christina are facility manager, will be at OATH by 11:00 a.m. today to hand out supplies that are needed. We will proceed at 4:00 with a regularly scheduled program from 4:00 to 7:00 to hand out hot meals showers etc...
