Join us for Howl-O-Ween! 🎃

This Halloween, BCHS will be hosting a "trick or treat" type of event for you and your dog! 🐾
When: October 31st @ 11:00-2:00 PM
Where: BCHS Annex
What: Treats, Training, Photo Ops, Food Trucks (including The Roaming Bean and Los Gingos Tacos), AND MORE!

Admission into the event is a cash donation of your choice for BCHS! No registration required. Come at any point during the designated time with your furry friend.

Happy Monday from Theodore! 🐾🍌

He is so cute and sweet; it is driving us bananas! Theodore is 2 years old and LOVES cuddling under blankets or in hideaway beds. Although he is FeLV+, he can live a long, healthy life with the proper care.

💸💰Join the Big Cash Raffle! 💸💰

You can purchase tickets in person at the Beaver County Humane Society, or we can mail them to you! If you are interested in having tickets mailed to you, please contact us at 724-775-5801 ext. 142. Please note that we can only accept CHECKS and CASH due to Pennsylvania laws regarding online raffles.

Be sure to get your tickets and payment dropped off at the shelter or sent to us BEFORE December 2nd. The Big Cash Raffle drawing will be held on Thursday, December 3rd.

🎫One ticket is $20 or three tickets are $50. 🎫

Broccoli (black kitty) and Penny (calico kitty) are both BCHS alumni and are now sisters! Penny was adopted back in 2016, and Broccoli was adopted after being her adopters first foster in May! 🐾

Their pawrents say, "We adopted Penny (calico) 12/06/2016. She was a Christmas present for my oldest daughter. Her form said that she was shy and not a fan of men. She is definitely shy. Penny loves her space and wants attention when it is her idea. She is not mean but knows when she wants messed with and when she doesn't. She mostly hangs out in the Den in her cat tree where she can watch the birds. She is very content. She is about 13 years old now. She got a clean bill of health from the vet so we are hoping for many more years with her. We love her and her semi-grouchy self. Lol

Broccoli (black kitty) came to us our first foster on May 2nd of this year. She was about 10 days old. She was a tiny ball of fluff. We spent hours bottle feeding her and watching her grow into her personality. She was the only one from her litter. We brought in a second litter of fosters a few days after her so we were watching them all grow. She is such a lovey and snuggly girl. She is up for just about anything. As we had her with us we knew we could never let her go. She was our first foster and ended up a foster fail. She is a perfect addition to our family. She loves to play but also loves to snuggle. She plays with our other kitty and our dogs. Penny actually doesn't mind when she climbs by her on the cat tree. Broccoli loves hanging out on one of the several cat trees that we have in the house. You will also often find her stretched out on the couch taking a nap. If you are not sure where she is all you have to do is open a can of soft food and she comes flying like her life depends on it. Lol

Penny and Broccoli are so different in their personalities but we love them both the same. We are so happy that the Beaver County Humane Society does what they do. They brought these two into our lives. I can't imagine not having them with us."

We need fosters, specifically for rabbits ‼️🐇

We currently have reached our maximum capacity for rabbits while helping with a stray case and cannot intake anymore until we have the space. With your help, we can continue to save more. Rabbits can make great pets with the proper care and research. Although they do not require daily walks, they do need mental enrichment. Items like snuffle mats, chews, and DIY toys can go a long way!
