My family non-profit Scott-Milliner Outreach has an active Drone Training Program within 11 counties in the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania including Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland.

🚁 **Join Our Drone Training Program!** 🚁

The Scott Milliner Outreach Center, in collaboration with Alpha Drones USA, is excited to offer a comprehensive 6-week Commercial Drone Training Program! Earn your FAA Remote Pilot License and kickstart your career in drone technology. We are currently in our June 3rd start date and approaching our August 5 start date so please get started ASAP to ensure you can complete the registration process before the next class starts

**2024 Class Start Dates:**
- January 8

**Program Highlights:**
📋 **Phase 0 – Enrollment:** Sign up on our website, complete a Career Assessment, and a 15-minute screening call.
✈️ **Phase I – FAA Remote Pilot Certification Course:** Prepare for and pass the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam.
📚 **Phase II – Qualification Training:** Hands-on training with Alpha Drones USA's drone fleets.
🛠️ **Phase III – On-the-Job Internship:** Gain real-world drone operating experience.
💼 **Phase IV – Job Readiness Preparation:** Get ready for full-time, part-time, or contractor employment opportunities.

**Program Costs:** $8,000 (excludes $175 FAA Written Exam Fee). Funding options and partial refunds available.

**Enrollment Requirements:**
1. Fill out the SMOC Drone Training Program Application.
2. Visit your local PA Career Links Office.
3. Enroll on the Career Links Website.
4. Complete assessments and create a Career Plan.
5. Wait for approval and instructions.
