Most days i wake up and I’m okay. Today was one of those days i woke up and I’m not even close to okay. Fighting a internal battle with yourself no one can see is one of the worst monsters. I’ve gotten used to hiding what I’m going trough, but days like today i can see his face. I can feel his dirty cigarette burnt fingers across my skin and i can smell every drink from the bar pouring out in beads of sweat! I can feel my 12yr old body trying to push him off of me and then i froze! Why did i freeze? Was this my fault ? Did i make him think i wanted it? What else was i supposed to do ? What else could i have done ? Tears rolled down my face as i asked myself these questions. The very same questions i ask my self till this day!
