Beaver county friends! Please mark your calendars for Saturday November 14th and stop by Panera in Monaca anytime between 8 am-8 pm for a bite to eat! 20% of sales with be donated back to Ady’s Echo of Hope through Beaver County Cancer & Heart Association’s Angels R Us program!

Our program provides gifts of comfort and joy to children battling cancer and heart disease as well as Little Farmers Camps at the farm Ady spent so much of her time at growing up.

🏥 Advances in early detection, treatment, and cancer care are helping more people survive cancer.

Preventive measures and regular screenings can also play an important role by helping detect cancer earlier, when treatment may be more effective.

Make sunscreen easier to remember by keeping it somewhere you’ll see it every day.. A simple reminder can help make sun protection part of your daily routine.

A — Asymmetry
B — Border
C — Color
D — Diameter
E — Evolving

Regular skin checks can help you notice changes early. If you spot a mole or mark that looks unusual or has changed, talk with your healthcare provider.

🩻 Approximately 1 in 8 women (13%) in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society.

While October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, any day of the year is a good time to schedule essential appointments and screenings to catch potential cancer early, when treatment is often more effective.

🎗️September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month🎗️

You may be seeing people wearing more gold clothing this month because it’s the color used to show support for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Every day, approximately 41 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with some form of cancer. Recognizing the many challenges of this disease, we offer programs designed to provide Beaver County families with practical help and bring hope during an incredibly difficult time.

Founded in 2003, our Angels R’ Us program fund assists Beaver County families who have a child that has been diagnosed with cancer or a heart condition by helping pay for gas expenses to and from medical appointments. In 2009, the program expanded to include Roxsan’s Dream Fund which attempts to grant “wishes” of children 18 and younger battling these such diseases.

🎗️September 1st🎗️

Today, September 1st is the first day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I will be sharing a fact about Childhood Cancer and photo(s) of Ady during her cancer journey everyday this month to raise awareness for this awful disease.

🎗️Did you know that approximately 41 children a day in the United States (1,000 globally) are diagnosed with some form of cancer? 41 families who will get that call that their lives are about to change forever. We got that call on September 7, 2023. A day we will never forget.

This first picture I’m sharing is from when Ady had to have imaging at UPMC Children’s Hospital. This was September 14. The day when it became even more real.
