Cool opportunity for students entering 9-12th grade! 🌱

It's true...

The Summer Sustainability Institute introduces students to sustainable initiatives in Beaver County.

But there's more to it than that...

Students who participate in our six-week summer program (that meets twice a week) learn about leadership, teamwork, and how we are all connected and affected by our actions and inaction. If your student is a critical thinker who is ready to not just ask the important questions but to seek out real answers, be sure to register them for SSI!

The program is open to Beaver County high school students — and that includes those who just completed 8th grade and 2026 high school graduates.

This summer all communication will be through the Playground App. To stay up to date with announcements be sure enable notifications and check your email regularly! You can also opt in to text reminders that will direct you to the app.

Link is live! You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours to verify if your child is registered or waitlisted. ✅📝📩

TOMORROW, May 26th, at 3 pm the link will go live on our social media accounts to sign up for City Camp.

Few things to know:

🛝 We are using the Playground app for registration and communication to parents this summer.

🔗 You can NOT create a Playground account until the link goes live for registration.

👀 READ THE INSTRUCTIONS in the application because there are TWO SEPARATE forms to be filled out.

📩 After the first initial application is submitted. CHECK YOUR EMAIL TO FILL OUT THE SECOND APPLICATION (or you may log back into the Playground app, go to "Paperwork" and fill out the second form).

⏳ You must fill out the second form on the SAME DAY AS THE INITIAL APPLICATION. IF YOU DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM, YOUR CHILD WILL LOSE THEIR SPOT and it will be given to another child. It is your responsibility to fill out the second form, you will only be reminded through email.

🏁 READ YOUR EMAIL to know if your child is fully registered or if your child will be waitlisted.

IT'S TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT CITY CAMP! City Camp is for students entering grades 1-6. It runs from 11:30am-4pm; Tuesday-Friday. The first day is Tuesday June 9 and the last day is July 30. Registration opens Tuesday May 26 so mark your calendars. More information to come this week! ☀

That’s a wrap!! The end of year celebrations for ASP and P2P have come to a close. We had a blast bowling with the elementary kids, mini golfing with the middle schoolers, and touring the Mattress Factory with the high school crew. What an incredible school year!! ⛳️🎳🖼️☀️

Yesterday was the last day of our in-school program Pathways to Purpose (P2P) for this school year. The 7-12 grade students have worked so hard! Our time was filled with exploring careers, developing AND reaching goals, spending quality time with leaders, and for two of our students-- completing their senior projects. (Not the two pictured here though, yet! 🥲) Feeling proud and grateful for an awesome year! 🌸💚🥰

A very special thank you to the School District for partnering with us and letting us pop into AJSHS 3 days a week. Also, Mrs. Campbell in the library... you are the best. Your hard work and dedication to giving Aliquippa your best does not go unnoticed. 🖤❤
