Filipino American Cancer Care (FACC) is grateful to our Community and Media Partners for their support of our Fashion for Hope & Courage Charity Gala on October 31, 2026, 4pm at Magnoliya Grand Conference and Event Center, Manassas, Virginia.

Our work is made stronger by organizations, media groups, healthcare partners, and community leaders who help us reach more people and raise awareness about the challenges faced by cancer patients and their families.

To all our partners, thank you for your continued support, generosity, and willingness to share our mission in the fight against cancer. Your involvement helps us reach more families who need care, encouragement, and assistance.

SETH TACDEO

A Young Cancer Warrior from Libacao, Aklan, Philippines

Seth Tacdeo was only four years old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2020.

After years of chemotherapy and hospital visits, Seth finally completed his treatment in 2024. His family was hopeful that the hardest days were behind them. Sadly, in July 2025, the cancer returned, affecting his testicle and bone marrow.

When his mother told him he needed chemotherapy again, Seth simply asked, “Oh, again?”

She asked if he was afraid. His answer broke her heart.

“I’m not afraid of chemo. I’m not afraid of my own death. I’m more afraid to leave you because I want to be with you and Papa.”

For his parents, hearing those words was heartbreaking. Their only child was facing cancer again, and they could only pray and do everything possible to help him recover.

Seth Tacdeo is now in remission.

Although he continues to undergo treatment and maintenance therapy.

Seth has been a beneficiary of Filipino American Cancer Care (FACC) since 2020. We have followed his journey through the years, and we continue to pray for his complete recovery.

Our hope is to see Seth enjoy his childhood, return to school, play with his friends, and grow up healthy and happy.
