Today, Early Care & Learning Council staff are joining fellow child care advocates on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, urging lawmakers to strengthen the programs children and families rely on every day.

You can be part of this effort. Join advocates across the country in contacting Congress and urging them to:
• Increase funding for CCDBG by at least $3.57 billion
• Protect Head Start and Early Head Start from cuts or flat funding
• Reject the elimination of Preschool Development Grants Birth–5 and CCAMPIS
• Support working families by opposing cuts to WIC, LIHEAP, and afterschool programs
