The JDS Scholarship provides an opportunity for eligible applicants from Timor-Leste to pursue a master’s degree in Japan. To help you complete the online application smoothly, please follow the guidance below:

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
Before starting the application, carefully read the eligibility requirements and make sure that you meet all the conditions. Read each item carefully and tick the corresponding boxes only after confirming your eligibility.

Step 2: Educational Background
Enter the names of all school and universities in English. If you attended more than one school, list them in chronological order. The graduation dates and degree names must exactly match the information shown on your submitted diplomas and certificates.

Step 3: Work Experience
Complete the Work Experience section using information that matches your official employment records.
• Select the correct Ministry, Agency, or Organization.
• Indicate the Institution under the Ministry, if applicable.
• Enter your current Department/Division and Position/Title.
• Provide accurate employment dates. If you are still working in the position, select "Present".
• Choose the correct Workplace Type.
• Enter the official workplace address and telephone number.

Step 4: Save Your Application Regularly
Before moving to the next page, always click the "Temporary Save" button located at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Wait until you see the message "Saved successfully" before proceeding to the next step. This will help prevent the loss of any information you have entered.
