KOLPING Baucau held a Subsistence Horticulture Training for 10 farmers in Lautém Municipality, bringing together the Bemoris, Centru and Mauloʻo groups in Lospalos, Mauloʻo and Bemoris.

Through classroom learning and field practice, farmers built new skills in small scale, climate smart horticulture, installing greenhouse tunnels and drip irrigation, preparing organic fertilizer and natural pesticide, and planning how to market their products. Together we're helping families become more independent and resilient, improving production, strengthening household income, and developing horticulture as a sustainable livelihood.

With the support of GASC, in cooperation with KOLPING Nacional Timor-Leste.
