🚀 Welcoming Synagie to the SISEU family!

We are pleased to welcome Synagie as a newly unionised branch of SISEU, following the signing of its Collective Agreement with the union. This partnership will strengthen workforce development, skills upgrading and business transformation efforts.

The milestone coincides with the launch of Geene 2.0, Synagie's new AI-powered business intelligence platform. Speaking at the launch, NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Desmond Tan 陈国明 emphasised that AI should help businesses solve real challenges and improve productivity, while investing in workers through job redesign and upskilling. "It is not AI instead of workers. It is AI that works for workers."

As AI adoption accelerates, strong partnerships between businesses, workers and unions will be key to building a future-ready workforce.

SISEU warmly welcomes the appointment of NTUC Secretary-General Brother 黄志明 to the Cabinet.

Brother Ng has been an unwavering champion for workers, constantly challenging us to dream bigger, dare to do more, and never stop finding better ways to serve our members. His passion for the Labour Movement and commitment to improving workers’ lives continue to inspire us all.

As he takes on this important responsibility, SISEU stands firmly and proudly behind him. We are confident he will continue to be a strong advocate for workers while serving Singapore with dedication and heart.

Congratulations, Brother Ng. We wish you every success and look forward to continuing this journey together for workers, with workers.

Building a stronger and future-ready union.

More than 130 branch officials from across our unionised branches attended SISEU Ordinary Delegates’ Conference today. We were also joined by our Council of Advisors and Trustees as we reflect on our progress and chart the next chapter of our journey.

Together, we celebrated important milestones:
📈 Growing our membership to over 85,000 members

🤝 Strengthening labour-management partnerships through more than 170 Company Training Committees

❤️ Continuing to support members and their families through welfare assistance, education grants and enhanced membership benefits

🌱 Investing in leadership renewal, with more young leaders and women stepping forward to lead

🚀 Preparing workers and businesses for the future through skills development, AI readiness and transformation

There were also meaningful discussions on supporting workers through career transitions, strengthening member retention, and ensuring SISEU remains relevant for every generation of workers.

A heartfelt thank you to our SISEU EXCO, branch officials, Council of Advisors, Trustees as well as our Unionised companies for your continued dedication and partnership.

As we look ahead, our mission remains unchanged: To strengthen representation, deepen partnerships and build better workplaces for every worker.

45 years. One unwavering mission. ❤️

Our 45th Anniversary Dinner was a heartfelt reunion of union leaders past and present, united by a shared purpose to serve workers and make a difference in their lives.

We are deeply grateful to SISEU Council of Advisors Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Brother Gan Kim Yong (), Brother Alvin Tan (Alvin Tan), Sister Tin Pei Ling (Tin Pei Ling) and Brother Gabriel Lam (Gabriel Lam (蓝延理)) for gracing the occasion and for your steadfast support.

Thank you also to our management partners for your trust and partnership, and to our union members for your unwavering support. Together, you have made SISEU’s 45 year journey possible.

As we celebrate this milestone, we renew our commitment to champion workers and build a stronger future together.
