Spent meaningful time catching up with our union Sisters and Brothers from Chemical Industries Employees Union - CIEU – great conversations over Min Chiang Kueh (pancakes), and even better company as we celebrated our August babies and Singapore’s birthday!

We had candid exchanges about the issues facing their industries: manpower challenges, shifting workforce dynamics, and the quiet anxiety around AI and automation. What struck me most was how grounded they remain – balancing real concerns for their members with a steadfast determination to keep their industries competitive.

Grateful for their ground-level insights and unwavering dedication. Let’s keep these conversations going because ! 💪🏻

Getting Ready for the Workplace Fairness Act 🤝

A meaningful engagement with MOM x CIEU and our management partners on the Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) to better understand and prepare for its implementation. With the WFA expected to take effect by end 2027, our management partners are prepped to start early to put in place the necessary practices and processes.

Through continued tripartite collaboration and open dialogue, we can work together to build fairer, more inclusive and respectful workplaces. 💪
