*Driving Workforce Transformation Through Partnership and Innovation*

HSEU was pleased to jointly organise the HSEU Learning Journey 2026 with Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), bringing together 130 management partners from the healthcare sector and beyond.

Participants gained practical insights into two successful NTUC Company Training Committee (CTC) Grant projects – PreSAGE Fall Prevention System and Smart Scheduler – and how innovation, technology, and strong union-management partnerships can transform workplaces while creating better outcomes for workers.

A big thank you to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Employment & Employability Institute, e2i, NTUC LearningHub, our speakers, project teams, and all participants for making today's learning journey a success.

We look forward to partnering more organisations on their workforce transformation journey.

⏳ 38 hours saved with just one change ⏳

With support from the Company Training Committee (CTC) Grant, NHG Pharmacy streamlined its store operations, saving up to 38 hours every month🚀

🌱 HSEU is Serious About Sustainability

At HSEU, sustainability is more than just a conversation – it's a commitment to creating lasting impact for our workers, workplaces and community.

We were honoured to have Dr Tan Tai Kiat, Chief Operating Officer of SingHealth Community Hospitals and Chief Operating Officer, Environmental Sustainability at SingHealth, share with our HSEU Executive Council (EXCO) and Sustainability Community of Practice on the Eco-CheckUp initiative and how unions can play a greater role in driving sustainability.

Dr Tan highlighted opportunities for HSEU to strengthen strategic partnerships through initiatives such as green idea crowdsourcing, reducing waste, recognising Green Eco-Champions, and building a culture of sustainability from the ground up.

We also thank Mr Tan Kai En, Assistant Director, Industry Training & Transformation, NTUC, for sharing insights on the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and how every individual and organisation can play a part in building a greener and more sustainable Singapore.

These meaningful discussions reaffirm HSEU's commitment to empowering our union leaders and members to champion sustainable practices in the healthcare sector. Together, we can make a difference—one green action at a time.
