Walking with Mary, Growing in Faith
On October 3, 2026, the parish family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish gathered once again for Sabado Ko, Kay Maria, our devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The morning began with the dawn procession from the Pechayan BEC to IHMP at 5:30 AM. With prayers along the way, the community accompanied the image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary as she journeyed from one community to another. Rev. Fr. Julius Boado, CMF, joined the parishioners in this prayerful walk, making the journey a beautiful expression of our faith and devotion to Mama Mary.
While the procession was taking place, the parish community at the Main Church gathered in prayer through the Angelus, Holy Rosary and Novena, and Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Though in different places, the community was united in one prayer and one devotion to our Blessed Mother.
Upon arriving at IHMP, the community continued with the 6:30 AM Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Julius. A joyful community salo-salo followed, allowing everyone to share food, fellowship, and the simple joy of being together as one parish family.
The journey continued as the image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was transferred to the Forestry BEC, with Fr. Julius once again joining the community. This month-long journey among our BECs reminds us that Mary is not only honored in our parish church but is welcomed into our homes and communities, bringing us closer to her Son, Jesus.
The morning continued with the Sambata Gathering at 9:00 AM. In the afternoon, the community gathered once more for the 5 O'Clock Habit Prayer and Holy Hour, followed by the Novena and Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The day concluded with the 6:00 PM Anticipated Sunday Mass.
Through every prayer, procession, celebration, and simple gathering, we continue to discover the beauty of walking together as one parish family. May Mary, our Mother, continue to accompany us in our journey of faith and always lead our hearts closer to Jesus.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, lead us to our salvation.
