UAP National Architecture Week Welcome to the Official FB Page of the UAP National Architecture Week. We rise up! Architects literally turn ideas into a tangible and habitable masterpiece.

UAP is the Integrated and Accredited Professional Organization of Architects (IAPOA) in the Philippines with more than 50,000 members or 100% of the total registered architects in the country. Since its registration as the first ever professional organization to be accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on May 12, 1975, it has received many awards including the highly-acclaimed

PRC's Most Outstanding Accredited Professional Organization, in the years 2002, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. The National Architecture Week (NAW) is an annual event that is observed in the country every second week of December in accordance with the Presidential Proclamation No. 934, Series of 1971, which aims to draw public attention to the architect's invaluable contributions towards planned growth, environmental planning, and overall social progress. This year's celebration of the National Architecture Week is envisioned to make real connections to the general public whilst stressing the true value of the architect and its God-given talent and skill of "foresight". Future Forward NAW (to be read as Future Forward Now) implies that despite all the uncertainties that we are currently facing, architects do not fret for we are trained to look into something and see strengths and opportunities. Architects are ready! We are ready for the future, now! This week-long event will be a combination of limited face-to-face activities, webinars, documentaries, nationwide simultaneous tree planting, exhibits and competitions. In addition, to the actual week of celebration happening on December 6-11, 2021, a couple of pre-event activities will be hosted beginning November 3, 2021. So stay tuned for more information!

A Day of Milestones and Momentum:
PAFNAM Conducts Courtesy Visit to the UAP MANCOM! 🏛️🇵🇭

Last July 14, 2026, the UAP PAFNAM Committee gathered at the UAP National Headquarters for a highly productive day filled with official proceedings, and collaborative milestones.

Here’s a look back at the key events of the day:

🤝 1. Courtesy Visit to the UAP National Management Committee (MANCOM)

The day commenced with a courtesy visit to the UAP MANCOM. PAFNAM Chairman Ar. Reynaldo Cristobal Jr., alongside CGEA Executive Director Ar. Ara Torrecampo-Angeles, proudly introduced the dedicated members of the PAFNAM Committee:

✍️ 2. Oath-taking Ceremony

Following the introductions, the PAFNAM Committee members officially took their oaths, solidifying their commitment to serving the general membership and elevating the profession through the upcoming PAFNAM initiatives.

💡 3. Presentation of the PAFNAM 2026 Celebration Proposal
With the team officially sworn in, the committee presented the highly anticipated PAFNAM 2026 Celebration Proposal to the MANCOM, laying down the groundwork for an impactful and memorable celebration this year.

📋 4. PAFNAM Committee Meeting 1B
To wrap up the productive day, the team transitioned directly into PAFNAM Committee Meeting 1B to iron out early logistics, refine creative direction, and identify action items.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the UAP National President, Ar. Jonathan Manalad and UAP National Executive Vice Preisent, Ar. Chona Ponce, for their warm welcome and unwavering support. Together, we are ready to build, inspire, and celebrate the excellence of Filipino architects!

Officially in motion! 🏛️✨

​The UAP PAFNAM 2026 Committee kicked off fiscal year 2026-2027 last July 1, with its first official meeting via Zoom!

​Discussions include review of the Committee Vision, Mission, and Objectives, updates on Committee calendar, review of creative direction, brainstorming for the PAFNAM Opening and Closing ceremonies, and other nationwide activities.

Officially inducted! ✋🏻

We congratulate our PAFNAM Committee Chairman, Ar. Reynaldo Cristobal Jr., on his official Oath-taking during the UAP Inaugural 2026 held last June 21, at Solaire North, Quezon City.

​From taking the oath to standing alongside the Chairs of other CGEA committees under the leadership of Ar. Mary Rolyn Ara Torrecampo-Angeles, this milestone marks the official start of our collective mission.

Realizing the Vision! 🚀

The blueprint is coming together! Last June 15, the UAP PAFNAM 2026 Committee hopped back on Zoom for our 2nd Strategic Planning Session.

We rolled up our sleeves to review the Committee's Vision, Mission, and Objectives, map out our target calendar, and dive into the fun stuff—brainstorming the official theme, logo, and national activities! 🎨💡

From solidifying our foundation to shaping the creative direction, the energy is high and the ideas are flowing. We can’t wait to share what we’re building for the architecture community!

Aligning with the National Vision:
PAFNAM at the UAP National StratPlan! 🏛️📐

Last June 6, the PAFNAM 2026 leadership team—represented by our Committee Chair (Ar. Rap Cristobal), Vice Chair (Ar. Jeboy Llacuna), Secretary (Ar. Em Gallardo), and Area A Coordinator (Ar. Ronnie Chua)—headed to the UAP National Headquarters for the National Administration's Strategic Planning Session!

It was a productive day of alignment as the UAP National Management Committee laid down key administrative guidelines, from streamlined Secretariat processes and Financial Policies to the newly focused UAP Long Range Plan (10 Key Goals).

During the breakout sessions, the PAFNAM team joined our colleagues under the Commission on Governmental and External Affairs (CGEA) led by Executive Director, Ar. Ara Torrecampo-Angeles. Together, we rolled up our sleeves to brainstorm, collaborate, and fill out our Planning Worksheets to ensure our upcoming initiatives perfectly align with the national agenda.

We are ready to build a stronger, more impactful PAFNAM for every Filipino architect! 🇵🇭

PAFNAM 2026 preparations kicks in! 🇵🇭🏢

The UAP Philippine Architecture Festival - National Architecture Month (PAFNAM) 2026 Committee officially began its journey last June 1 via ZOOM Meeting App, with its 1st Strategic Planning Session!

From vision casting to brainstorming festive open-air concepts and other nationwide activities, the team is gearing up to make this year’s PAFNAM truly unforgettable.

Huge thanks to all committee members for their time, commitment, and incredible energy! 🚀
