Beyond the drawing boards!

The Afternoon Session featured insightful talks from our guest speakers who are redefining what it means to be an architect today:

1st Speaker: Ar. Pat Tingjuy on authenticity and passion in architectural practice.

2nd Speaker: Ar. JM de Jesus on moving fast forward from the “invisibility” struggles architects face.

3rd Speaker: Ar. Saira Nepomuceno on maximizing social media as a tool for architects.

4th Speaker: Ar. AP Antolin on how architects are also creators, and can thrive as content creators.

Followed by a panel discussion on “The Modern Architect Beyond Traditional Practice” moderated by UAP-CYA Chairperson, Levita Mendiola.

An afternoon filled with meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and inspiration for our young architects

The Morning Session of the Young Architects Assembly 2026 focused on innovation and responsibility in today’s practice.

Ar. Dennis Mayo led a timely discussion on the responsible use of AI in architecture, highlighting its potential while emphasizing ethical and mindful application.

This was followed by an Archicad Workshop by Architechnologies, facilitated by Ar. Ralph Bernal, equipping participants with practical skills for digital design.

One by one, young architects from different chapters came together, filling the venue with anticipation, energy, and excitement for what the day had in store. Even in these early moments, you could already feel the sense of community building, people reconnecting, meeting new faces, and preparing themselves for a full day of learning and inspiration.

What started as simple registration quickly became the first glimpse of a meaningful gathering of young architects going above and beyond!
