"One unforgettable experience I had with Cru was when the staff challenged me to be the team leader for a mission in Calayan. For someone with no leadership experience, it pushed me to go out of my comfort zone and rely on God more. Not only did it strengthen my faith, but it also changed my perspective on leadership as something that is not about having positions but about having compassion and willingness to serve your peers and trust God. Further, Cru also helped me to become more intentional in sharing my faith even when I feel uncomfortable or inadequate. Given the rejection that we face when sharing the gospel, I am always reminded that even in those situations, my courage and identity come from God alone."

"Being part of Cru has been a truly memorable piece in my college journey because it played a significant role in my spiritual growth. I still remember the experience when my friend and I conducted classroom evangelism. I was the one who shared the Gospel. Since then, I have become more courageous and passionate in sharing Jesus with students, even strangers. That experience ignited my desire to lead and disciple young people. I also learned to be friendly. Along the way, I have understood the importance of sacrifice, commitment, and being a good steward with time. Currently, I am leading young people in our church, and the fire in my heart for reaching and serving the next generation remains strong. I am grateful for how God uses Cru to shape me and continues to influence the way I serve and lead others."

"My involvement with Cru helps me learn how to handle my short temper properly by growing in patience and dependence on God and respond in a more Christ-like way. I came to understand the importance of being intentional, patient, and kind in building relationships with others through my first mission trip in Calayan, called Operation Jabez, witnessing blitz and discipleship experiences. Over time my perspective, attitude, and habits changed. I became more calm, approachable, and willing to grow. Cru helps me grow holistically through community, discipleship, and real-life experiences that shape me to become a better follower of Christ."

"Growing up surrounded by a mission-driven church, I knew I had to share God's word with the world, and my involvement with Cru was the push I needed to start my journey of evangelism. Through my involvement with Cru, I learned that my mentors evangelise by creating relationships with the youth instead of seeing them as quotas, which inspired me to take this ministry more seriously."

"Cru has helped me to grow closer to God, especially in His heart towards others in the Great Commission. Cru has equipped me to be more bold in sharing my faith and actually applying what I know in God's word. My most memorable experience with CRU was OJ Baguio and the KCCC conference 2026. During these mission trips, the Lord has revealed His will for me towards others and His promise, as said in His Word through Psalm 2:7-8. What I like the most in CRU is how it is truly a Christ-led movement towards students and building them to be Christ-like leaders for the nations."

"What I like most about Cru is the people I get to share the journey with. What started as simply being invited to join became a community where I found people I could serve with, learn from, and genuinely enjoy being around. Even when we’re already in different places and have our own lives, whenever we get the chance to be together, it still feels like nothing has changed. For me, that kind of connection is one of the things that makes being part of Cru really special."

"My perspective about life has changed when I got involved with Cru. I have learned the importance of trusting God and being patient with His plans for me. As a result, I spend more time now reading His word and praying instead of worrying too much. "Cru is a community that has helped me become more open about my struggles. It has given me a safe space to be vulnerable with my disciples and with other Christians who genuinely care about my growth as a child of God. Through Cru, I’ve learned that I don’t have to face my struggles alone because I have people who listen, encourage me, and point me back to Christ. My involvement with Cru helps me grow not only in how I face my struggles as a student and as a Christian, but also in knowing more deeply the One I can rely on and depend on, Jesus Christ."
