BOOK LAUNCH: THE KITTEN WHO LOST HER PURR

BARCELONA- Successfully launched the children’s poetry book of Quintin Jose Pastrana titled “The Kitten Who Lost Her Purr”. Organized by Asociación Vuelta in collaboration with Casa Asia, the book was read in three languages—English, Tagalog, and Spanish.
The book, written in English, was translated into Tagalog by Danton Remoto and into Spanish by Esmeralda Sandra Sotelo Sanz Sotelo.
It was read by author Pastrana in English, by Sotelo in Tagalog, and by Guillermo Gomez G Felipe O Gomez, the illustrator of the book, in Spanish. It was also read by some members of the audience.
The performance of cultural dances such as Filipiniana Jota Paragua and Spanish Flamenco also added color to the program, along with the serving of selected Filipino appetizers.

📚 Book Launch This Monday!

𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐂𝐈Ó𝐍 𝐕𝐔𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐀 is thrilled to unveil our latest project - the first-ever children's book by Quintin Jose Pastrana, translated into Tagalog by Danton Remoto and into Spanish by Esmeralda Sandra Sotelo, and beautifully illustrated by Guillermo Gomez Jr. G Felipe O Gomez
Proceeds will support our initiatives in mental health and wellness, literacy and cultural programs, and the creation of a Philippine library.

Special thanks to Casa Asia, Library Renewal Partnership, La Vinta, and Vía Manila Library Café for their collaboration.
