The PUP College of Engineering will administer the 2026 Engineering Qualifying Examination (EQE) for ladderized students, transferees, shiftees, and incoming second-year students. Shiftees will be tested on Basic Calculus, General Chemistry, and General Physics, while all other categories will be examined on Calculus 1 and 2, Physics for Engineers, and Chemistry for Engineers.

The exam runs for three hours with a required 70% passing mark, and scientific calculators are allowed. Students should consult the official EQE guidelines for full details.
