Building upon its vital environmental initiatives, the PUP League of ACES marked a new beginning on December 19, 2024, by officially welcoming its newest Aces at their 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. 🤝🏽

The event was more than just an orientation; it was a special moment of connection and community building, where everyone had a chance to meet fellow young environmentalists and finally become part of the 𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲. It was a time to share passions, learn from one another, and get ready for the important work ahead. 🤝🏽♻️

On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 of the 𝙋𝙐𝙋 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 went to 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 to 🄿🄻🄰🄽🅃 🅃🅁🄴🄴🅂 with 𝙅𝘾𝙄 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙮! 🌱

𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙖 𝙎𝙞𝙗𝙤𝙡 𝘽𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙖 is on its 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 of implementation — 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 where we stay with the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 from the day they're planted until after they've begun bearing fruit, 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Believing in the value that such activities bring, the PUP League of ACES partnered up with JCI Perlas Pasay in making it happen, helping out on the project's Year 5. ✨

Last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the 𝐏𝐔𝐏 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 attended 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨' 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚. 🌱🌍

𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 is a signature event by 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐇 that seeks 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in the country. In the hybrid event, we learned about the 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘽𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝟗𝟔𝟎𝟗 🧾or the proposed 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙘𝙩 (𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙈𝘼), a bill that aims to address the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐯𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 by creating policies that hold corporations and the state accountable for the damage done. 🚨

Together with policymakers, fellow advocates and youth leaders, our 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝙎𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙖 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙣 ✨ and 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝙆𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙚 ✨ learned about the 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 in emboldening initiatives that continue to speak for the current state of our environment, and our future as its inheritors.
