The 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐘𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐂) will have its 1st General Assembly and 1st Orientation. The assembly and orientation will be held at BU-IPESR Bldg. 2. This session is divided into 2 focused segments: a morning session promptly starting at 7:30 AM to 12:00 NOON and an afternoon session beginning at 1:00 PM onwards.

The BU-IPESR YAPAC Assembly and Orientation, scheduled on August 29, 2026, at BU-IPESR Grounds, Daraga, Albay, will serve as a platform to orient the first-year students of BSESS and BPED. One of the organization's missions is to develop the students' participation when it comes to service, community engagements, and university activities.

The assembly will be composed by several topics including the Introduction of the newly elected officers of BU-IPESR YAPAC, a discussion about the Constitution and By-laws of the Organization, Presentation of the NSTP faculty, and the presentation of the achievements acquired by the BU-IPESR YAPAC Officers A.Y. 2025-2026. This activity helps 1st-year students understand the Constitution, campus internal structures, and the upcoming NSTP Work Immersion next semester. It also fosters accountability and a sense of service for effective community advocacy. This initiative supports SDGs 4, 5, and 17 by integrating inclusive leadership training and civic responsibility into the student experience; we ensure members are well informed and empowered to lead positive social change on campus and in the community.

By assembling for this action, it is high time to take responsibility for becoming CWTS and LTS students. Unity is the accelerator for change, inclusive innovations, and joint development. That is why we invite you to join our assembly and be part of this progress. Let us be one where we can ameliorate our community and foster change to flourish the skills of all students of BU-IPESR.

This theme underscores the lasting footprint left by our learners' community projects across various barangays in Daraga and Legazpi. It is a celebration of selfless dedication and sustainable progress.

To guide our learners as they embark on this new voyage, we are honored to have 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐋𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝 𝐕. 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐲𝐚, 𝐋𝐏𝐓. He will be sharing firsthand insights, challenges, and triumphs from his own NSTP journey. His story is bound to ignite inspiration and spark new ideas for everyone continuing their path at BUIPESR.

The boat may travel across a vast sea filled with churning tides, but it will not go down easily—a boat made by an experienced individual fares smoothly against the odds. In the same manner, communities face challenges arising from social and environmental factors, but with collective effort, they can overcome adversity and head toward progress. True service, in this regard, is not measured by the desire to help but by the effort to persevere, adapt, and lead communities through difficult circumstances with compassion and purpose.

In celebration of the NSTP Graduation Ceremony, we present this year's theme: "𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭." This theme captures the idea that effecting meaningful change goes beyond intention and requires active participation, selfless dedication, and collaborative effort. Like a boat faring toward its destination, a community attains success when people work as one and decide to see the reality they move in.

"Paglayag" begins when a student steps into the world, facing numerous challenges; it is a process that develops their strengths and skills in schools and the communities they will touch. From "Pag-YAPAC" to "Pag-LAYAG", the students are now prepared to embrace the challenges and the realities they will face. The best example of this is this year's guest speaker, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐋𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝 𝐕. 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐲𝐚, a licensed teacher who contributes to the communities he belongs to by instilling knowledge among the people and communities he works with.

Join us as we celebrate our oneness in changing the communities. This ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at BU IPESR Grounds from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐈𝐏𝐄𝐒𝐑) extends its profound gratitude to all 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for their exemplary participation and dedication during yesterday’s joint departmental activities.

Beginning at 6:00 AM, our first-year students demonstrated an outstanding commitment to civic duty, collaboration, and institutional pride. Through their collective efforts, this two-part initiative achieved remarkable results:

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐆 (𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆): Thanks to the diligent efforts of the students and the utilization of their personal cleaning equipment, the IPESR Vicinity has been thoroughly cleaned and refreshed. This initiative reinforced our commitment to a safe, sanitary, and supportive environment that supports academic and athletic excellence.

𝐆𝐔𝐇𝐈𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐎𝐃 (𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓): The 50-meter pool area has been successfully transformed. Following our guidelines on appropriateness and institutional representation, our students brought the theme "Advancing Civic Responsibility and Literacy through Creative Expression” to life. The completed mural stands as a permanent testament to our collective vision and artistic responsibility.

This undertaking was far more than a departmental requirement; it was a powerful demonstration of community stewardship. The first-year cohort has set a high standard for future institutional service.

• Scrubbing brush (for cleaning walls)

• Students will choose either Mural Painting or General Cleaning.
• The class must be equally divided between the two activities.
• Bring extra clothes/shirt and water.
• Assigned locations for Mural Painting General Cleaning per block will be announced later.

Note: The class shall discuss and agree upon the mural painting design. The design must not contain any vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate images. Political views, symbols, or statements shall also be excluded from the mural.

As Bicol University holds its 23rd NSTP Day, the activity for the 𝖬𝗑. 𝖸𝗈𝗎𝗍𝗁 𝖠𝖽𝗏𝗈𝖼𝖺𝗍𝖾 will take place in the afternoon. We can showcase the candidate's wit and perspective, particularly that of our representative, 𝖱𝖾𝗇𝖾𝖾 𝖩𝗁𝖺𝗒𝗇𝖾 𝖠. 𝖡𝖺ñ𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗌.

This year's theme: "𝖤𝗆𝗉𝗈𝗐𝖾𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖢𝗈𝗆𝗆𝗎𝗇𝗂𝗍𝗂𝖾𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝗋𝗈𝗎𝗀𝗁 𝖤𝗍𝗁𝗂𝖼𝖺𝗅 𝖫𝖾𝖺𝖽𝖾𝗋𝗌𝗁𝗂𝗉, 𝖵𝗈𝗅𝗎𝗇𝗍𝖾𝖾𝗋𝗂𝗌𝗆, 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖲𝗁𝖺𝗋𝖾𝖽 𝖱𝖾𝗌𝗉𝗈𝗇𝗌𝗂𝖻𝗂𝗅𝗂𝗍𝗒." It shows that strengthening a community may require skills, including the ones mentioned. Through this Mx. Youth Advocate, we believe our candidate, a Bachelor of Physical Education learner, will possess the skills to be a catalyst and effect the change the community deems necessary.
