Anislag National High School is a public secondary educational school stationed at the municipality of Daraga, Albay. The school started out as a barangay high school in 1966 with an objective to provide the proper education needed by the youth of Anislag, to its neighboring barangays, and up to the southern part of Daraga.
With the increase in numbers of demand for secondary education in the locality, an initiative to nationalize the Anislag Barangay High School was realized and was made possible by the enactment of Batas Pambansa Blg. 601. And this conversion led to the opening of the first national high school in Albay and an opening also of different annex schools in the province, which in turn accomplished their objective to bring education and reach out to the rural areas of the province.
Now, the school is part of the integration of K-12 education program and is currently offering an academic strand in GAS. This is a strand suitable for students who are still open for options, or not yet decided on what career path to pursue their bachelor's degree.
