⚠️ Cyclone Vaianu – Venue Closures Update ⚠️

Due to the expected impacts of Cyclone Vaianu, all Bay Venues facilities will be closed on Sunday.

This decision aligns with Tauranga City Council’s decision to close all council facilities and follows advice from MetService and Civil Defence. It reflects a shared, safety-first approach across the city.

Venues will reopen from 8:00am on Monday, allowing our teams to carry out safety checks and address any cyclone related impacts in daylight hours. Customers with affected bookings, programmes or events will be contacted directly to arrange refunds or postponement options where relevant.

Edited: With the weather forecast what it is, market has been cancelled so Esmarie will be at the next market instead (26th).

This Sunday, one of our wonderful volunteers- Esmarie- is giving up her weekend to fundraise for Under the Stars at the Papamoa Lions Club Market, and we just think that's pretty amazing ♥️

If you're heading along, pop by and show her some love. Every dollar raised goes towards free meals, showers, and essentials for people experiencing homelessness right here in Tauranga.

Not a shopper? No worries! Dropping off a few supplies is just as helpful. Our guests are always in need of:
Roll-on deodorant (new)
Razors (new)
Toothpaste (new)
Socks (new)
⛺ Tents or sleeping bags (good condition)
