Otumoetai Social Supermarket Our dream is to see a connected, kai-secure community in our neighbourhood. We are focusing on long-term community development, not emergency relief.

We believe strengthening and connecting the existing community support networks through the addition of a social supermarket, is key to achieving food security. This is why we have a financial contribution required for all shoppers as it enhances mana and encourages engagement. We are determined the Social Supermarket will enable local Ōtūmoetai shoppers to make their own choices and provide opportunities for whanau to thrive.
