So, we have a goal…

Layla is the ultimate all rounder when it comes to finding a family pet ❤️
She’s been in foster care, where her foster family have done an amazing job helping her become the lovely, well rounded girl she is today.
She’s past the puppy stage, already crate trained and toilet trained, and she’s fantastic with other dogs, cats, kids and even chickens! 🐶🐱👧🐔 She’s got all the foundations in place and is ready to find a family of her own, someone who can enjoy all the fun of having a dog without starting from scratch.

Best guess at breed is Staffy x and she is around 4-5 months old. She will be a medium sized dog and medium level energy. Layla enjoys playing with toys and going on walks but is equally happy to cuddle on the couch!

Okay… can we just take a moment to appreciate this little guy?! 😍

Jack is definitely not your everyday looking rescue puppy with his fluffy coat!
There’s something about his white coat, gorgeous face and unique teddy appearance that you would think would help him stand out and get snapped up.

Sadly adoptions are slow and that’s not the case! We need your help to share this sweet pup around to as many people as possible in the hope someone spots his post and falls in love.

Jack is a confident sociable pup who would do well in a family home.
He is still young to be taught how to act around cats, stock and other animals etc.

Approx 10 weeks old and no idea what breed he is but possibly some collie x Staffy? We expect him to grow to be a medium sized dog with medium level energy.

Those sad little eyes say it all…
Ruby is starting to wonder when it will finally be her turn to have a family of her own 💔

For now, she’s snuggled up safely in her foster mum’s home, wrapped in a blanket in front of the fire and waiting patiently for someone to choose her. And honestly, we can’t understand why this sweet girl is still waiting.

If you can share this post to help Ruby find her forever home it would be greatly appreciated!!

Ruby is an absolute gem. She’s house trained, crate trained, great with other dogs, walks beautifully on lead and is incredibly easy to train as she’s highly food motivated. She loves playing with toys so would make a good family dog for kids.

She’s done so well in foster care, but what she really needs now is a family to call her own.

She is around 4-5 months old and her foster parents have put all the work in during the puppy phase so she comes crate and house trained.
Best guess at breed is Staffy x and she will be a medium sized and medium level energy dog. She will appreciate a daily walk but also happy to snuggle in front of the fire all afternoon.

Antz is reaching out to our followers in the hope that someone might offer him the loving home he deserves! 🏡❤️

This sweet boy has been looking for a home since early June with zero interest. His time at the pound was up, but thankfully a foster home stepped in and he has absolutely been thriving in a home environment.

Antz is:
🐶 Super dog-social
🐱 Friendly with cats
👧 Great with kids
🐔 Learning boundaries around chooks and ducks.
❤️ A big snuggle bug
🏡 Happy living as part of a family

He’s not your typical mouthy, super jumpy puppy, which makes him a lovely option for a family looking for a younger dog without all the chaos!

He’s a medium energy dog who would love a daily outing or adventure, but he’s equally happy curling up on the couch afterwards. His foster mum says he absolutely loves snuggling under blankets on cold days.

Breed wise, he’s a true Ngaruawahia special 😂 and is expected to be around 15–20kg fully grown, so he’ll mature into a lovely medium sized dog.

He’s currently around 8 months old and has been patiently waiting for someone to finally choose him.

These two beauties are available through Waipa Animal Control & have been waiting patiently for their happily ever after.

Reintroducing Tommy 💙

1 year old, Staffy mixbreed, medium in size.

Through no fault of his own, Tommy is back in our care and on the lookout for his forever family.

Tommy's a friendly, loyal and affectionate boy who has had a lot of bad luck in his short life. He spent a long time with us before he finally found a home of his own, but circumstances out of his and his new owners control have led him back to the pound.

Upon his return to us, Tommy wasn't putting weight on one of his hind legs. We got him checked over at the vets where they found Tommy has Hip Dysplasia. He's had weekly injections for a month and is now back to his normal self. The vets are happy with how he is looking and believe he can go on to live a comfortable and healthy life. He will need an injection once a month for the rest of his life, which we can discuss in private messages with anyone interested in him.

Tommy deserves a family of his own, he's had one setback after another and it's about time he had some good luck. His ideal home would be somewhere he's not left on his own for long periods, where he has a warm bed inside at night and secure fencing. With a family that can commit to getting him his monthly injections so he stays happy and healthy.

Reintroducing beautiful Kaia🥰

Kaia is a Siberian husky cross heading dog, 7 months old.

Our gorgeous girl has been waiting patiently for her forever family to come along. She saw her sister leave and cant understand why nobody is coming for her.

Kaia is super friendly and loves a good play. She makes you well aware of her presence when she thinks you ignoring her and she wants some cuddles by talking to you as we all know huskies are famous for. Kaia plays well with her pound mates but she can be a bit bossy, so a home with a more submissive dog would be suitable. She was not tested with cats, so ideal home without cats.

Kaia has a calm side to her where she just loves lying in her bed whiles you go about or she follows you curiously watching what you do and will give her opinion now and again. This girl would make an amazing companion to some lucky family who would be able to keep her safe with secure fencing, take her for daily walks and let her have a warm bed inside.

Rescue is heartbreaking & exhausting some days 😔

If you can help in any way, a donation to their vet account, puppy items or maybe even fostering if they are requiring more foster homes. Even just sharing the post helps.

Desex your dogs people, & if you have a female in heat, keep her inside unless actively supervising outside.

These 3 Goats need to find homes before the end of the week.

I set up this rescue to help the dogs in the pound who are running out of time, but unfortunately these goats are in the same position and just like the dogs they deserve a chance of a better life.
They only have until the end of the week so please share and send us a private message if you can help.
In an ideal world the two smaller boys would go together, the bigger boy in the middle of the photo will be fine if he goes separately.

We’re looking for homes where they can live out the rest of their lives, cared for and happy, so please don’t get in touch if your intentions are otherwise.

All 3 are desexed.
