kohe Hospital, raising funds for a language centre for Glendowie College to assisting Somerville Intermediate with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities, Tzu Chi New Zealand formed strong relationships with both local and Taiwanese immigrant communities. Under the blessings of Master Cheng Yen, Tzu Chi Foundation New Zealand was officially established on 1st April 2000 in Auckland with a liaison office in Hamilton. From then to now, with local presence in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch, Tzu Chi volunteers in New Zealand will continue to cultivate and sow seeds of blessing, giving back to this land that many volunteers now call home.
