Youth Service – Saturday Night
“Secure in the Presence of God” – Psalm 9:10 | Pst Aisake Vulawalu

The youth were encouraged to remain secure in God's presence by developing a heart of gratitude and a right attitude in serving Him (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Through scriptures such as 1 Corinthians 16:15, Colossians 3:23, and 2 Timothy 1:6-7, they were challenged to activate the gifts and talents God has placed within them, serve with excellence, and walk boldly in their calling. The message concluded with a powerful reminder that to become unstoppable and experience something new and powerful from God, we must go deeper in our relationship with Him, faithfully fulfilling His purpose as seen in 2 Timothy 4:5-7.

As a church family, we set aside these days to seek the Lord together in prayer and fasting. Let it be a time where we quieten our hearts so we can clearly hear His voice —knowing that without Him, we can do nothing.

As we prepare for the Pastors and Leaders Conference, the Ordination, and the Youth Rally, we commit it all into His hands—trusting that He is the One who builds, strengthens, and sends.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

GLOBAL MISSION SUNDAY: AFRICA , 2026

🇿🇦🇰🇪🇹🇿🇳🇬🇬🇭🇨🇩🇸🇳🇪🇹🇺🇬🇳🇪🇲🇬🇷🇼🇲🇱🇨🇲🇦🇴🇿🇼🇸🇴🇳🇦🇲🇿🇱🇷🇱🇾🇿🇲🇹🇬🇧🇼🇧🇮🇲🇼🇩🇯🇩🇿🇲🇦🇹🇩🇧🇫

Unreached peoples are not unreached by accident. They are unreached because they are hard to reach. They are hidden behind distance, danger, resistance, and darkness.
They are in places where comfort dies. Where convenience has no voice. Where the Gospel is not welcomed—but desperately needed.

Let’s be honest — If it were easy, they would already be reached.

But the question is not why is it hard?
The real question is—why are we still hesitating?

Because while we debate,
millions in Africa are living and dying without ever hearing the name of Jesus.

No church.
No witness.
No light.

And yet we have the Gospel. We have the resources. We have the freedom.

So what’s missing? Obedience.

Jesus did not say, “Go if it’s safe.”
He did not say, “Go if it’s comfortable.”
He did not say, “Go when it makes sense.”

He said—GO.

And the truth is — they are not rejecting the Gospel… they have never heard it.

So we must go where it’s uncomfortable. We must go where it’s risky. We must go where others won’t. Because the same command still stands.

“Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.”

This is not a suggestion. This is not a ministry option. This is the mandate of Heaven.

We will not be a church that watches from a distance. We will not be a people that choose comfort over calling.

Africa must hear.
And we must go.

Rev Malakai Meke reflected from 2 Corinthians 5:14–18.

To walk in God’s purpose, you must be fully convinced of what He has told you to do.
When conviction is strong, pressure cannot break you—instead, you learn to stand, to endure, and to keep moving.

1. The Challenge of Conviction

Psalm 27:4–6

David said, “One thing I desire… to dwell in the house of the Lord.”
Conviction begins with desire.
If you stop desiring God, you become vulnerable to the enemy.
The devil exposes those who lose their spiritual hunger.

Psalm 37:4

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
Your desires are shaped by where you place your delight.
A heart that delights in God becomes stable and focused.

2. The Conviction of Change

To grow in God, you must accept the changes He leads you into.
The Word of God is the only change-agent that transforms us from the inside out.

Hebrews 4:12

The Word is alive, it cuts, corrects, and brings life.
It helps you listen and obey.

James 1:22

Be doers of the Word, not hearers only.
God is not a man that He should lie—His Word is trustworthy and powerful.

3. The Challenge of Commitment

Commitment requires the help of the Holy Spirit.
Half commitment is not commitment at all.

Luke 9:55–57, 60

Jesus teaches that excuses weaken discipleship.
You must make room for God in your life.
If your life is full of excuses, you may fit in a church crowd,
but you will not fit the requirements of the Kingdom.

Commitment demands discipline, obedience, and a heart that is fully surrendered.
