Our Annual General Meeting will take place Monday 25th May 2026!��As a member of the Circus Sphere Incorporated you get to nominate and vote on the managing committee members that represent 👉you.
In addition to agenda items relating to the community.
�👉 Make sure you are a member, as this is a prerequisite to have your voice count!!.

You can nominate members of the community for positions in the managing committee and cast your vote during the meeting.
The AGM will take place at 6.30pm on Monday 25 at Saint Francis Hall at 2 Montrose Street, Point Chevalier and will be followed by the newbies class and jam a bit later at around 7.40pm (the session will be extended till 9.30pm so we have enough time to play!) And yes there will be snacks provided during the AGM 🥨🍩🍪🍫

If you can't make it on Monday 25 you can also vote by proxy.

Due to the updated requirements in the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, Circus Sphere Incorporated are proposing an updated Constitution document.

The majority of the changes that have been made to the constitution, have been made to bring our constutution in line with the new legislation, and hasn't brought any major or fundemental changes to the way we run Circus Sphere Incorporated.

As per the current constitution, members of Circus Sphere have 28 days to give feedback, ask questions and suggest ammendments before the document gets submitted to become official.

The official motion to submit the new constitution will be done at the AGM on Wednesday the 28th May, with the intention to submit the updated Constitution document 28 days later on 25 June 2025, on the condition that no significant amendments or changes are required before then.

The Circus Sphere Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held this week, from 7pm at St Francis School, Parish Hall where we usually jam.

Having an AGM is one of our responsibilities as an incorporated society, and it's where we the managing committee reports on the finances and business of the year that has been, as well as giving members a chance to ask questions and give feedback.

We invite everyone to come early on Wednesday, any time from 6:30pm, so we can be set up and ready to go at 7pm.

To make it fun and comfortble we will be providing some snacks on the night, and we invite everyone to bring blankets and/pillows to be as comfortable as possible during the proceedings ☺️

If you would like to contribute to the festivities, please bring a snack or some finger food to share. This is by no means compulsory, but will be greatly appreciated.
