Ponsonby Community Toy Library Join our toy library & borrow 5 toys for up to 3 weeks. We have 1700 toys for children aged up to 7 We also offer party table & chairs for hire.

Ponsonby Community Toy Library is a well-established toy library. Our toy library operates like a book library where you can borrow 5 toys for a period of 3 weeks. We have an evolving range of over 1770 toys for babies & children up to approx. 7 years. There is an annual fee to join then you can start borrowing toys. Library Opening Hours:

Tuesday 09:30-11:45am
Wednesday 2.00 - 4.30pm
Friday 09:3

0-11:45am
Saturday 09:00-12:00pm


Why Join? Playing with toys fosters language, stimulates creativity, and develops coordination. As children grow their needs in toys change – this can be expensive and demanding in terms of storage! We take the stress out of keeping pace with your child’s toy needs by providing a quality range of over 1800 educational, outdoor, role play and theme toys that you can borrow for an annual joining and subscription payment. Families often share how great it is to be a part of the Ponsonby Community Toy Library and what fun it is to see their children experience the excitement of enjoying ‘new’ toys every fortnight! This funding will support us continuing to provide young children with quality educational toys to further their development and help to reduce plastic waste from our environment. We couldn't do it without your help!
