Not every day you get to celebrate a 90th birthday! 🎂

Our very own Karen McGinness made the trip to Whitianga to help celebrate the milestone birthday of Gordon Barnaby.

Gordon David Barnaby is one of the Charter Members of the The Avondale Lions Club Auckland New Zealand, joining way back in 1964. Over the years, he has given so much to Lions and the communities we've served. While he's now a member of the Whitianga Lions Club, he'll always have a special place in Avondale Lions history.

Happy 90th birthday, Gordon. We hope you had a fantastic day surrounded by family, friends, and fellow Lions.

What a great innings and a wonderful example of service above self. 🦁💙

Most of us know someone who’s been through it in some way — and this is just a simple way to come together, show a bit of support, and do our part.
