What an Incredibly Busy Month May Has Been!
As you can see from the photos, we have had great fun with our Participants this month and have loved seeing the joy on their faces. We would like to share a few of the special activities that made May so memorable. A special thank you goes to Tyra, who regularly visits Pinnacle House to provide haircuts for some of our Participants. Her kindness is an incredible blessing and helps make what can sometimes be a stressful experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. Our Friday team has been busy collecting pine-cones to help raise funds for our community meals programme. These meals are a blessing to many people in our community, particularly elderly residents and those who are unwell. If you ever have excess meat or produce that you would like to donate, we would love to hear from you. We always welcome opportunities to share Pinnacle House with our friends and supporters, and we were delighted to have Grace visit us for the day. Twice each week, our Participants volunteer by packing food at the Salvation Army in Nelson. The work these incredible people do to support vulnerable members of our community is immense, and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a small way.
Each year, we also have the privilege of supporting the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. We love being able to give back and show our appreciation for the care, love, and support they provide to so many people.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Pinnacle House. We wish you a wonderful June and look forward to sharing more updates with you in July.
God bless,
The Team at Pinnacle House

Life @ Pinnacle
During school holiday time when a number of our programmes take a break; we love the opportunity of trying the many different activities that are available to us. As you can see by the following photos the pleasure and enjoyment is evident on the faces of our Participants. We are incredibly grateful and blessed living in this region. We have welcomed a new staff member and a new participant who brings energy and fun to us all. Take care until June, and God bless as we move into cooler days. PS: We would love for you to save your plastic milk bottle tops for a project. All colours welcome.

Life @ Pinnacle (Happy Easter Monday)
We had the most wonderful time at Quinney’s Bush recently, as you’ll see in these photos. Our team put in an incredible effort to make sure everyone enjoyed a truly special day. As I was uploading the photos tonight, I was reminded just how amazing our participants are. Seeing the joy on their faces and watching them experience everyday life or something new is incredibly rewarding for all of us. We are so grateful for our dedicated staff and the supportive community around us—you make moments like this possible. Thank you all, and God bless. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the month. We look forward to seeing you again next time.

Life @ Pinnacle
In this region being out and about is such a wonderful gift for us. So many opportunities to access and enjoy. The museum always gives us great experiences. Check out Triple E (our amazing team who cleans up parks and enjoys exercise at the same time) The tool-time team are creating incredible things with such great support from friends in our local community. The RDA now has a fantastic arena with the installation of a roof which will allow us more riding opportunities when the weather is inclement. Swimming is always fun; the discovery group make and try many different activities including foods from other cultures. Have you ever been to the Bead Factory in Tahunanui? A place to go for the creative at heart. We had a very special visit with our friends from The Methodist Synod (Snowden Trust) who have been wonderful supporters of Pinnacle House for many years. Until next time. Love and blessings and thank you for your ongoing support.

Welcome to the New Year!
We’ve been having lots of fun making the most of our local community and everything it has to offer while we wait to return to our regular programmes. A special welcome to a few new people; you’ll get to know them more through our upcoming newsletter. The Museum currently has a fantastic interactive display, and we all had such a great time exploring it. Nature-land and Higgins Heritage Park were also big hits, especially with one of our participants who loves machinery. We’ve included a few photos from December—Triple E out and about, a full van, and plenty of smiles! Mr Whippy even stopped by as a special treat for everyone. We really do have such fun.Our guys are amazing, and we love seeing them thrive and enjoy new experiences. Have a fantastic month, and keep an eye out for our next post at the beginning of March.
PS: Don’t forget—we are closed on Monday for Nelson Anniversary and Friday for Waitangi Day.

Life @ Pinnacle: As we very quickly come to the end of the year, we look back on an incredibly busy and successful few weeks. We have so much to be grateful for. The support of our Staff, Pinnacle House Board of Trustees, Grace Church, friends, work places and the wider community enables us to achieve so much, and we are truly thankful. Our participants have accomplished wonderful things across many areas—we are so proud of every single one of them. A special acknowledgement goes to Fulton Hogan and the Tasman District Council. It was a privilege to share morning tea with them today. Wishing you all a joyful and blessed Christmas, safe travels, and precious time with family and friends. See you in 2026!
