It is the responsibility of the Rider / Handler / Person Responsible to know the conditions of entry, qualification information, and rules of the class or section in which they are competing.
Breed or Kindred Society sections may have different qualification and attendance requirements from the RAS sections of the show. Please check with your breed society.
🔹 This show is run under the Rules of the Royal A&P Society New Zealand (RAS) and Equestrian Rulebook –www.ras.org.nz / equestrian section / rulebook page.
🔹 Entries will be received on a first come, first served basis under the two (2) Tier criteria which will only come into affect if classes reach maximum numbers

Tier Two (2): No Qualification gained but three (3) A&P Show Attendances
The period for any qualification gained for RASNZ Showing Titles 2027 is from 24th February 2026 and concludes on 23rd February 2027. ( Note🚨: the RASNZ Championship Show 2026 was not a qualifying Show). Any qualification/attendance achieved after this date and before the end of the 2026/2027 Show season will transfer to RASNZ Titles Show 2028.
🔹Qualifications: 1 x Champion or 2 x Reserve Champions or 2 x firsts gained; or any combination of these.

🔹RAS Led Horse/Pony and Thoroughbred sections – one show attendance and no wins required.
Note 🚨: Affiliated RAS Shows/Events who run qualifying sections will be those sections/classes as noted in the MSS of the RAS Equestrian Rulebook. If a RAS affiliated show/event did not run the minimum number of classes within a section, then that section is not a qualifier. The show will still count as an attendance.
