What an incredible day we had at Waipuna Marae in Panguru on April 30th! ☀️

We were blown away by the turnout and the spirit of collaboration, with over 40 people joining us and 23 different services available on-site. It was a privilege to bring such a wide range of support directly to the community.

A massive mihi to all the services that made the journey and shared their expertise:
Inland Revenue, Te Puni Kōkiri, Ministry of Justice, Te Hiku Hauora, Ngāti Kahu Social and Health Services, Age Concern, Dementia Tai Tokerau, Heart Foundation, Healthy Homes, St John, Far North REAP, Sport Northland, Stroke Aotearoa, Bowel Screening, Mate Wareware, MOE Learning support, Kia Roha, our local JP, and so many more!

The sun was shining, the kai was plentiful, and it was great to see so many people heading home with some awesome giveaways.

A special heartfelt thank you to the haukainga for your manaakitanga and for looking after us throughout the day. Your hospitality is what makes events like this so meaningful.

Finally, a huge shout-out to Melissa, who organized the marae and kept everyone connected—your coordination made the day run seamlessly!

Thank you to everyone who attended and played a part in making this day such a success. We look forward to the next one! 🌿✨
