⭐️⭐️ANNOUNCEMENT⭐️⭐️
After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Christmas Parade and bring a Whānau night to you alongside our friends at Mainfreight Kaitaia.
This decision was not made lightly; unfortunately, due to time and capacity constraints, we could not take on this event in 2024 (And we thank the many many people that offered to help even with your backing it wasn’t possible) We understand the disappointment this may bring for our whānau and community.
Our vision remains focused on encouraging and empowering whānau to lead, shine, and create joyful spaces together. The community spirit we’ve seen this year has been inspiring, and we are proud of the way our whānau continue to shine brightly.
Moving forward, we are eager to work with others to bring the Kaitaia Christmas Parade back in 2025 and make it a memorable event for the community with even more of a Far North flare.
In the meantime, there will be other events to celebrate the Holiday season and we will share these, if you need advice on creating your own event, reach out!!
Thank you for your support and understanding, and we’ll see you at the Far North Community Family Night ❤️⭐️ this will be Banging IYKYK
With lots of love from us at Shine on Kaitaia
