🔧🦌 Sometimes the right equipment makes all the difference.

A big thank you to TK Hire Oamaru for providing equipment that enabled Deer to Care to process donated meat at the Boar n Stag Muster Hunting Competition.

Support behind the scenes often goes unnoticed, but contributions like this help us maximise the amount of quality wild venison that can be distributed back into the community.

Thank you for helping make it happen.

A big shout-out to Richie Crean for donating venison through Upper Cuts to Deer to Care. Every donation helps extend the reach of our programme and ensures that high-quality wild venison finds its way to local families and community organisations.

Thanks Richie, your support is making a difference.

🦌🏡 Deer to Care is only possible because of people willing to share what they harvest.

Thank you to Evan Barclay for donating venison through Mataura Butcher. Donations like this help us provide nutritious wild venison to people throughout our communities while ensuring nothing goes to waste.

We appreciate your generosity, Evan.

💚🏘️ Community investment creating community outcomes.

We are incredibly grateful to MLT - Mataura Licensing Trust for providing funding support to Deer to Care.

Their support is making a tangible difference. Through MLT's funding, tonnes of wild venison has been donated into the Gore-Mataura community.

Partnerships like this allow Deer to Care to keep delivering nutritious wild venison to families and community organisations who benefit from it most.

Thank you MLT for backing our vision.

When one of our youngest Deer To Care members set herself a goal to learn how to break down a deer… she absolutely smashed it. 🦌💪🏼

She listened, took her time and made every cut count. By the end of the day, she was giving some of our more experienced team members a serious run for their money! 😂👏🏼

This is what it’s all about — passing on skills, sharing knowledge and giving the next generation the confidence to get stuck in. 🧡

A HUGE thank you to hunters Tim & Wes for taking the time, having the patience and sharing their knowledge with the younger generation.

Safe to say… the future of Deer To Care is looking pretty bloody good! 🦌🧡

This support strengthens our ability to connect hunters, processors, charities and families, ensuring good food reaches those who can benefit from it.

Thank you Mercury Energy for helping us turn generosity into meaningful community outcomes.

🚜🌿 Not every contribution arrives in a chilly bin.

A sincere thank you to Harvey and Janine Perkins for their ongoing support of Deer to Care by providing access to their property and hunting areas.

Landowners who work with us play a vital role in our success. Without access to suitable hunting areas, many of the deer that ultimately become meals for local families would never enter the programme.
We're incredibly grateful for your trust and support.

🤝🦌 Behind every meal donated through Deer to Care is someone willing to give a little extra.

Today we'd like to thank Nathan Shirley, who donated venison through Upper Cuts for charitable distribution.

Contributions like Nathan's help ensure that quality wild game is shared with local families and community groups, turning a successful hunt into meaningful support for others.
Thanks for being part of the Deer to Care team.
