SBA recently wrapped up our Term 3 "2degrees Girls Got Game" after-school programme in Invercargill. We had a record number of girls attend the programme(!) and were thrilled to see them grow over 6 weeks, not only in terms of their basketball knowledge and fundamental skills, but also in confidence and love for the game! 💓

A special thank you to coaches Laura, Tania, Zara, and Bex for your hard work to deliver such a special experience to the next generation of girls' basketball. Additionally, we want to thank our friends at Southland Girls' High School for hosting us the last 2 weeks!

Laura’s hit the ground running in her first term as Development Officer! She’s managed to visit 20% of the schools located in the Southland district at least once, teaching skills and bringing smiles to heaps of tamariki in the process.
