Addiction isnt an easy space to navigate, but together the load can become lighter.

Jack from SOAR recently featured our Family Support Worker Nadine and H.A.R.D Peer Support Worker from South Centre, highlighting our vital work within our community.

SOAR's radio show is broadcast every Wednesday at 12.10pm and Friday at 1.45pm on 96.4 Radio Southland

On SOAR this Week I Interviewed Nadine who is a Family whanau Support Worker at Te Whare Manaaki South Centre and Tuahine who is a Peer support worker for the H.A.R.D Program at South Centre Seniors & Elderly: The centre offers specific weekly groups for senior citizens, such as Tuesday afternoon Euchre cards and fall prevention classes.Families & Youth: There are free, home-based parenting programs (like Triple P), general family support, and they host other community groups throughout the week. Here a couple of Program they Have Te Whare Manaaki—also known as South Centre Anglican Care—is a vital community and social services hub located at 9 Jenkin Street in Strathern, Invercargill.
