Are you new to Southland and ready to grow your leadership skills?
In partnership with the Invercargill City Council Wellbeing Fund, the Southland Business Chamber is offering a fully funded place in the Southland Leadership Academy to a newcomer to Southland who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.
To be eligible, applicants must:
• Have moved to Southland within the past 12 months
• Demonstrate leadership potential
• Intend to remain in Southland for the next five years
• Invercargill & Bluff residents only
People of all ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
To apply, tell us your name and organisation, why you would like to attend the Southland Leadership Academy, and how taking part would benefit you, your organisation and/or the wider community. Applications should be no more than 400 words.
Applications close 3:00pm, Monday 5 October 2026.
