2025 Stitch Summer
We set up near the Rotunda and enjoyed stitching by the river and were joined by some other local crafters. We had a chat with several cruise ship passengers who were enjoying the sunshine too as they explored our city.

The Guild is marking the passing of one of our founder members this month. Pat Amor (pictured at our 40th Ruby Celebration in 2020) was known for her beautiful work - particularly hardanger. She had a sparkly personality and always added chuckles to our meetings. She hosted her last embroidery morning last year, even though well in her 90s.
Our condolences to her family who are in our thoughts. Pat will be missed. xx

Trish Hughes, ANZEG President, on her trip to Hawkes Bay & Gisborne region. Finishing with the last, but by no means least, of the Guilds to visit during her Presidency. We loved hosting her, it was a pleasure for those who were able to attend.

Sad news 🥹

It is with much sadness that we are coming to you with the news that More Than Fabric is closing on 31st of July.
The time has come to draw a close to this wonderful journey so Leonie & I can move on to other paths in our lives.
We will be holding a ‘Moving On 40% off sale’ starting today 17th May 2024 running through until we close.
There are exceptions to the 40% off, the exceptions are:
Wild Earth Yarn;
All wadding &
Janome Sewing machines.
Everything else in the shop is 40% off, come top up your stash or plan a new project! Everything has to go!
All our scheduled classes will still go ahead as planned.
We would like to thank you our fabulous customers for your friendship & inspiration over the 11 and half years we have been in business here at 106 Ballance St.
Fiona, Noeline & Leonie
