Friday Garden Club Buzz Update...

Last Friday Manutewhau Garden Club session was full of creativity, learning, and plenty of laughs. Everyone enjoyed making garden snails, there was a real sense of achievement as we harvested fresh red radishes straight from the garden beds.

One of the highlights of the morning was turning our harvest into delicious jars of pickled radish, with everyone taking part and learning new skills along the way. It's amazing what can be accomplished when the community comes together in the garden.

If you missed out, don't worry, there's another opportunity this Friday.

Each Garden Club session offers something different, whether it's gardening, harvesting, preserving, creating, or simply enjoying good company in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Many of our regulars say the two hours fly by, and they always leave having learned something new.

Join us this Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and see what everyone is talking about. Learn at your own pace, meet friendly people, and be part of a growing community that shares skills, stories, and fresh produce.

*Note the weather doesn't cooperate, we have a covered area so the fun can continue rain or shine.

See you next Friday at the Manutewhau Community hub 74b Oreil Ave, West Harbour.
