🌱 CLEAN ENERGY vs WASTE-TO-ENERGY ⚠️
Let’s be honest… not everything labeled “energy” is actually clean.
Clean energy means renewable, safe, and sustainable — like solar, wind and wave power. These sources create electricity without importing waste, without burning toxins, and without producing hazardous ash.
But Waste-to-Energy incineration?
🔥 It burns rubbish to make power — and creates toxic emissions, hazardous fly ash, and long-term environmental risks.
🚢 And in our case, it even means importing foreign waste, shipping it into Fiji, baled in plastic, just to burn it here.
There is nothing “clean” about that.
If we want a truly sustainable future, we choose real clean energy, reduce waste, and invest in zero-waste systems — not an incinerator that leaves behind toxic ash for generations.
