The next stop on “The Tuners” festival tour will be Doc Edge , New Zealand’s largest documentary film festival, which will take place from 24 June to 10 August in Auckland and Wellington. The film has been invited to the Labour of Love section, and its screening at the festival will also mark its premiere in Australia and Oceania.

Doc Edge is one of the most important documentary festivals in the Asia-Pacific region and holds Oscar-qualifying status. As part of the festival’s official selection, “The Tuners” is automatically in the running for the Best International Short award. The winner of the category will receive a cash prize and qualify to compete for an Oscar nomination. The winners will be announced at the festival gala, which will take place on 1 July in Auckland.
