Doc Edge Doc Edge is a not-for-profit charitable organisation serving as New Zealand’s national organisation for documentaries since 2005. Life Unscripted.

It is also an Oscar®-qualifying festival and the premiere Asia Pacific hub for all things documentary. The Documentary New Zealand Trust (Doc Edge) is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2004. Doc Edge is the home of storytelling that changes your world. Our kaupapa: to celebrate, support and exhibit documentary. Doc Edge is an Academy Awards® qualifying international documentary film festiva

It showcases the best films from New Zealand and around the world and includes Doc Edge Awards, celebrating excellence in filmmaking, Doc Edge Schools, an educational programme for students Year 5 to Tertiary, Doc Edge Exhibition, a showcase of digital interactive storytelling and Doc Edge Industry (Forum and Pitch), bringing together local and international film, TV and other media professionals to learn and connect.
