There are moments at work where you have something to say,
and choose not to.

The meeting where you had an idea - but held back.
The moment you agreed - but weren’t fully on board.
The opportunity you almost went for - but didn’t.

These moments pass quickly.
But they shape how others see you, and how you see yourself.

Using your voice is often about recognising those moments
and choosing to step into them.

Because if you’re part of a team, your contribution matters.
What you think, what you notice, and what you bring adds value.

Reflection questions:
What do you think holds you back from speaking up?
What might help you choose differently next time?

Deena is an incredible asset to our team, and it is wonderful to see how much our clients each enjoy and benefit from their time with her. We are so grateful to have you Deena!

“The idea that a great outfit can spark a powerful moment of transformation really resonated with me. Having had time off from a corporate career due to health reasons, the concept of dressing as an expression of self-confidence is something I very much relate to.

I have been volunteering at DFSA for nine months. I love to take away any pressure or anxiety by bringing an attitude of freedom and play to my styling sessions. I love how person-centred Dress For Success's approach is.”
