While caring for Ashton, Kaitlyn and her husband are also supporting their newborn in NICU. For families with very young children, being away from home and separated from their support network can be incredibly tough.

Can you help stock the pantry for families staying at Ronald McDonald Domain House? Right now, our Grafton Mews House is running low on a number of everyday pantry essentials that help families prepare simple meals while their child receives medical treatment.

We're urgently seeking donations of:

• Tinned fruit
• Tuna cans
• Tinned spaghetti
• Tinned tomatoes
• Tinned corn
• Canned soup
• Jam
• Marmite

Ronald McDonald Domain House
Building 11, 2 Park Road, Grafton, Auckland
(Auckland City Hospital grounds)

🕘 **Drop-off times:**
Monday–Friday, 9.00am–4.00pm

Last year, Ashleigh and baby Layla spent eight months calling our Christchurch House home while Layla received treatment for cancer. Yesterday, they returned with a very special delivery - snacks and baking supplies generously collected by the wonderful team and families at Busy Bees Childcare Brooklyn.

It’s always incredibly special to see families who have stayed with us come back to give back to others walking a similar journey. Thank you to Busy Bees Childcare Brooklyn for your kindness and generosity; these treats will go a long way in helping families feel supported and cared for during a difficult time.

Our family dinner nights give corporate and community groups the chance to cook and serve dinner for families staying at our Auckland Houses while their child receives medical care.

It’s fast-paced, hands-on, rewarding - and one of the most appreciated parts of a family’s day.

Your team will:

👪 Spend time with families
🧹 Help clean up afterwards
🙏 Enjoy the experience together as a team

Our pantries are running low, and we'd be so grateful for any donations of the following items:

🍿 Movie night snacks for kids:
• Multipack popcorn
• Multipack chip bags
• Multipack lollies, chocolate or other treats

🛒 Pantry staples:
• Cooking oil
• Tinfoil
• Canned tuna
• Canned fruit / fruit salad

Our staff around the country are doing the same at all of our Houses - one of the many ways we bring a little joy and normality to families with a child in hospital far from home.
