🇹🇭⚖️ 🇱🇰 Legal Clinic for the Thai Community in Sri Lanka

On 11 October 2026, the Thai Community in Sri Lanka (TCSL) together with the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo organised a Legal Clinic to promote legal awareness and provide Thai nationals living in Sri Lanka with a better understanding of the laws relevant to their daily lives.

The session was conducted by the following legal professionals:

⚖️ Mr. Tharanatha Palliyaguruge
Attorney-at-Law
⚖️ Mr. Janaka Botheju
Attorney at Law

The speakers shared valuable knowledge and insights into legal rights, responsibilities, and important legal matters that Thai nationals should be aware of while living in Sri Lanka. The programme aimed to help participants better understand the laws that affect their everyday lives, make informed decisions, follow appropriate legal procedures, and identify suitable channels for seeking legal advice or assistance when needed.

TCSL hopes that this initiative will empower Thai nationals with greater legal awareness and confidence, helping them navigate daily life in Sri Lanka while contributing to a stronger, more informed, and supportive Thai community.

The Thai Community in Sri Lanka extends its sincere gratitude to both legal professionals for sharing their knowledge and expertise, and to all members and participants for their interest and valuable participation.

Together, we continue to build a stronger Thai community through knowledge, understanding, and mutual support. 🇹🇭❤️🇱🇰
